Thanksgiving Day

A windy chilly day brought the church and children's home together to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. With many American staff and church members who live far away from their families, celebrating together takes away some of the homesickness. It also gives us the opportunity to get our fill of turkey and traditional foods.

Children and adults huddled around a campfire trying to stay warm at Greivin’s ranch. Youth and children played volleyball, tag, spikeball, and other games throughout the afternoon. Evening came and we brought out the leftovers to feast again before heading home. We are grateful and thankful every day for all God has given us and for the many ways He provides for us daily. Also, a big thank you to each one of you who support us through prayer and financial support. We couldn’t do it without you.
