Building Blessings in 2024

The new year began with a group of volunteers serving at SLCH. About fourteen men participated in a building project to rebuild an older house which was dilapidated and no longer safe for use. It was decided that this home could not be repaired and required a full demo and rebuild. These dedicated volunteers cleared the existing home and prepped the ground for the new build. The cement foundation was poured, trusses built, and the new home was framed in a week’s time. This crew worked tirelessly for a week before returning to their homes, and we are so grateful to them for blessing us in this way. While much of the project was accomplished during this time, there is still much to do. Please join us in prayer as we thank the Lord for sending these men to help rebuild this home and as we pray in expectation of how the Lord is going to provide for SLCH throughout 2024.
