Shining Light Children’s Home 22nd Anniversary Reunion

Our 22nd anniversary celebration began on Thursday, June 25th. That evening, the Home prepared delicious tacos for dinner, welcoming many of the people who came to participate in this special gathering. Numerous former staff members and friends of the children’s home attended. Although the dining room was completely full, we enjoyed a beautiful evening of fellowship, filled with joy and reunions.

On Friday, the 26th, approximately 250 people gathered, including former staff members, children who grew up at the children’s home, many of whom are now adults with their own families, as well as friends and collaborators who have been a part of this story.

During the meeting, we shared how God called us to establish Shining Light Children’s Home. There was also a moment when several people expressed their gratitude, shared their testimonies, spoke about how they felt called to serve at the children's home, and recalled many anecdotes from recent years. It was a very emotional moment, filled with tears, smiles, and profound gratitude for all that God has done.

In addition, a video was presented, showcasing the journey of these 22 years through photographs. It was very special to see how time has passed and how the same desire to serve and love others remains alive.

We want to sincerely thank everyone present, those who contributed by sending photographs, those who participated in organizing the various activities, and those who prepared the food. Thank you for being part of this milestone celebration.

These were days of great blessing, unforgettable memories, and gratitude for all that we experienced. We trust that God will continue to guide and strengthen this ministry so that it may continue to be a beacon of light for many lives.
