Faithful through the Fire

Summertime is extremely dry in our area. As a result of the arid conditions, fires can easily breakout. Unfortunately, we have experienced many fires in the last month, and some of them have grown to be quite large and dangerous. We ask that you pray for the protection of Shining Light Children’s Home and for the safety of all residents, families, and staff members. Our hearts break for the victims who have been affected by the fires and for those whose homes have been lost or damaged. Please continue to keep them in your prayers, as well as the local fire departments who are working to safely control and extinguish these fires as quickly as possible. Despite the fires and dry conditions, we can see God working in many ways and want to continue doing His work to the best of our ability.
